My name is Dr. Patric Kleineidam and I have been working with Lahmeyer since 2005, now heading the department for Renewable Energy. Since the beginning of my career I have been dedicated to Renewable Energy Technologies, with a focus on wind energy. I started with research on structures for wind energy converters from bolted connections to support structures for offshore wind energy applications. In this field I performed my PhD Thesis as civil engineer.
When I joined Lahmeyer, I went straight to Korea to supervise the construction of a large wind farm. Since then I have been working on several projects in many countries around the world while they were developed, financed and constructed. Beside my work at Lahmeyer, I am also active as external lecturer for the master course module “Design and Installation of Wind Farms” at the Leibniz University Hannover.
While working at Lahmeyer, I especially enjoy the possibility to bring in my knowledge in projects in many different countries under always changing conditions.
